Chevron Halloween Card using the Owl Punch

One of my most favourite punches of all time is the wonderful Owl Punch. This is hands down the most popular item that I sell to my customers (followed closely by the Bird Punch). There are so many different creatures you can make with it, but seeing as it’s nearly Halloween, I’m showing you a bat today.

Just by adding bat wings made from the oval punch and 1/2″ circle you have a bat instead of an owl. The chevron texture is made using the Chevron embossing folder, which I covered in White Craft Ink before running through the big shot. I’ve also used the brayer and a grey ink to ink up the folder. This removed some of the grey ink on my brayer and created a pattern, which I transferred onto my Pumpkin Pie card stock base.

The card is finished off with a length of Basic Black chevron ribbon tied in a bow. I have a few share places left for the chevron ribbon, details can be found below. If you would like to purchase a share please email me. Postage for multiple shares will be combined.
