Matthew loves using my punches and his favourite is the owl builder punch. Together we made this little fella to go on today’s card.
To make the owl we used baked brown sugar for the body and a little piece of coastal cabana both of which are from the 2013-2015 In Colour Collection. The full collection includes crisp cantaloupe, pistachio pudding and strawberry slush. (See below)
Matthew chose the BIGGEST googly eyes that I had in my supplies – of course he did! I’ve used the new pattern paper from ‘Retro Fresh’ (available Spring Summer 2014!) for the body and the flags. The ‘hello’ background was stamped using crumb cake, onto crumb cake card stock. The circle scallop is punched out with the gold foil sheets (available Spring Summer 2014!)
At the Stampin’ Up! Manchester Convention in November, I received both the Retro Fresh 12″ x 12″ paper and the gold foil sheets in the all attendee giveaway. Thank you Stampin’ Up! I LOVE the gold foil sheets, I’m quickly getting through it as I’m using it on everything! A benefit of being a demonstrator is that I can pre order product before it’s released, I shall certainly be ordering more of this!
