To celebrate the launch of the new 2014-2015 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue, I held two launch parties, one at my home and one at my local library. Running two events was not my intention originally, but my dining table proved not to be quite big enough for more than 7!  Here are the photos from the first party last Tuesday night.

Launch Party 1

Here is my dining table all kitted out with grid paper, catalogues, all the tools we would need on the night and most importantly the goodies bags for everyone! All the ladies arrived at 6:30 pm ready for a few hours of crafting with brand new products from the new catalogue.

Launch Party 2

Here is everyone having a few moments to browse through the catalogue in between the makes and takes. I’d designed three makes and takes for the evening, each one very different.

blended bloom

The first card we made used the lovely Blended Bloom stamp. I was a very lucky girl to have this particular stamp because I won this at a recent Stampin’ Up! event.

Launch Party 3

The second card we made was from the hostess set Hello There, this is a really pretty set with great sentiments. You can order this for free when you cash in your hostess pounds on a qualifying order of £150 or more. The rewards are called ‘Hostess Pounds’ but they are not exclusive to hostesses or party holders, everyone who spends £150 receives the rewards to spend, which is great!

sea street

Lastly we all made this lovely card, which was the favourite at both parties, it uses the brand new Sea Street stamp set and coordinating Maritime pattern papers. I have a YouTube video showing you how I made this card here.

Launch Party 4

Lastly I’m sharing a photo of all my wonderful retired stamp sets, all looking for a new crafty home. Everyone who placed an order on the night, could choose the same amount from my retired baskets. Everyone went home with smiles on there faces. 🙂 (I will be popping the full list of what I have left on my website soon.)
