Baby Box 1

When thumbing the catalogue I was very pleased to see so many large sentiments – YAY! The Big News stamp set is a new set which is packed full of sentiments for those big occasions. The sentiment that stood out for me was ‘your little baby is BIG NEWS’, so I used that and from there created this special gift box for a new baby. This box is just the perfect size for a little pair of shoes and socks, hence why I stamped the little socks from the Something for Baby stamp set. Another new favourite of mine is the Lullaby designer series papers, the colours are just yummy. With 12 designs to choose from, I picked this sweet heart pattern.

Colours featured in Lullaby Designer Series Paper

Baked Brown Sugar, Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe, Hello Honey, Pistachio Pudding, Whisper White.

The gift box uses a full sheet of 12 x 12 card stock, and finished size measures 9 inches high, with a 3 x 3 inch base. I LOVE our new In Colour Hello Honey, we have some gorgeous new Stitched Satin Ribbon in the colour too! (See my ribbon shares)

The closure of the box is similar to a milk carton style, where the sides pinch in, but I’ve used the Scallop Tag Topper Punch to finished the top off nicely. The gift tag hangs from the box and is all tied into the bow when closing the box. The close up image here shows the cute little hanger with a heart on it, from the Something for Baby stamp set.
