A few weeks ago when Kath was leaving one of my workshops at Barton Grange Garden Centre, Preston, she casually asked if she could hold a workshop at her home and invite her crafty friends. “Of course!” I replied. From there we arranged a date via email, and last Wednesday was the day of her workshop. Kath has such a wonderful home, perfect for craft parties! She had a long table down the centre of her conservatory, and was a very organised hostess providing her guests with nibbles, wine, fizzy drinks and of course cake!

Festival of Trees Stampin Up Kath Workshop

This is what we all made. I had prepped all the card kits that morning and so everyone had a kit to make the a Christmas card and a Christmas cracker. The Festival of Tress stamp set is great to do at a workshop because  1) It’s a great set! and 2) There are five trees to choose from AND you can then had baubles or tinsel to your tree. I love that there are so many different possible combinations in the set. You will see from the photos below that everyone really thought about what tree they would like to use on their card.

I also used this bundle at one of my monthly paper craft classes at the library. See it here.

Getting Festive at Kath’s Festival of Trees Party

The Festival of Trees Bundle has been the most popular stamp set from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn-Winter Catalogue. The stamp set and punch are available separately, but when you purchase them together as the bundle, you save 15%. Normally £29.45, the Bundle Price is just £24.95.

Getting Festive at Kath’s Festival of Trees Party

This is Penny showing off her first ever hand made card. She had never paper crafted before and was so pleased with what she had made. Well done Penny! We finished the evening late, but on a high. The orders on the night reached £300, which meant hostess Kath received £50 free in product of her choice AND received 50% off any one item in the catalogue. (In case you are wondering she chose a full set of Regals ink pads, noramally £44.50, but got them for just £22.25. Bargain!) I think it’s fair to say that Kath was chuffed with that and will be thinking about hosting another party soon.

Would you like to hold a Stampin’ Up! party? I’m available to homes anywhere in Lancashire so please do get in touch if you’d like one. Alternatively why not ask me about a virtual party to anywhere in the UK?
