Have you seen my Sale-A-Bration count down in my side bar? That is how many days, hours, minutes and seconds there is until Sale-A-Bration is over for another year. Where has the time gone? We have a little over a week left as I write this post to get our hands on these exclusive Sale-A-Bration products.

For each £45 you spend before postage, you can choose one of 10 14 23 items to add to your order for free! That’s great right? You can see the freebies using the three links below.

For this card I’ve selected my favourite product from Sale-A-Bration, the Irresistibly Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper. Now, one thing I must say to you is, paper this is NOT! This is a thick high quality cardstock, with six glossy, embossed patterns. White on white, which shines when you catch the light. You can see this paper in more detail in my YouTube video below.

For this technique I used my water brush and collected ink directly from my ink pad palette and washed over the cardstock. I used the colours crumb cake and a touch of daffodil delight. The gold is like strands of tinsel which I pulled out from the Gold Bakers Twine. I love the way the light catches this cardstock don’t you? I’ll certainly be ordering a couple more packs of this before Sale-A-Bration is over.

Yesterday was Tom’s birthday, so we went bowling, here we all are in a family group selfie photo. We’ve not been bowling since before we had the boys, at least 5 or 6 years and the place was exactly the same. We had a really great time and I even got a strike and we don’t think that has EVER happned. Matthew (4) still beat my score though! Practise needed I think! Then we got rid of a few 2 pence pieces on the 2p machines and went for a nice birthday meal at Frankie and Bennys. They all came out singing happy birthday to Tom, as they do there. He blew out his candle and blew it so hard all the cream came off the top of his icecream! Oops! It was all very funny. 🙂
