Events: Crafternoon Tea 19th September Continued

The first project of the day was to decorate a silver tin and to make four matching cards that fit perfectly inside. I love this stamp set and papers together, the colours were picked straight out of the pattern paper. The card bases were cut and scored from Mossy Meadow card stock, and envelopes from our note card pack.

The cards were made using the gorgeous designer paper series English Garden and stamp set Gift from the Garden. If you come to my classes you know that I love to stamp the envelope flaps to coordinate with card. All I did here was keep the ink colour the same as the picture on the card, and stamp, but rotating the image around. I’m chuffed with how it come out, the watering can envelope flap has got to be my favourite.

Here are a selection of tins and cards that were made on the day. I love how everyone always tweaks the designs and made them unique to them.
