Back from an amazing Stampin’ Up! OnStage trip!
At 7:00 am a couple of weeks ago I caught the train from Morecambe to Manchester Airport, which was the first leg of my journey to Brussels. It was an early start but so worth it because I was off on a 5 day trip to Stampin’ Up!’s On Stage event.
OnStage is the new name for Convention, which we’ve known for the previous 7 years. Can you believe this is my 8th annual trip with Stampin’ Up! 😀 When I arrived Wednesday afternoon, I made my way to my hotel and met up with my lovely friend and roomie Lisa Cornwall.
Here we are laughing our heads off, standing on our tip toes, chins up, tummies in! When you walk around the area, through cobbled streets, some narrow lined with chocolate shops, you walk through a side street into a big opening which is known as the Grand Place, this is the central square of Brussels. Around the outside are these huge buildings including the city’s Town Hall. Every where is lit up beautifully. The bottom right photo shows the girls laughing at me, because I’m laying on the floor, taking their photo. That building is high!
There are rows and rows of shops selling all the chocolate and sweet treats you could wish for! Stunning displays just tempt you in, and why would you not when the shop assistants offer something full of sugar to taste?!
After a lovely meal out with Nicky, Lynney and Lisa we stopped off at this yummy waffle house. (just across from our hotel!!) It would have been rude not too wouldn’t it?
Thank you for visiting today, pop back tomorrow where I’ll be sharing what I got upto on the first day of OnStage Live! 😀
