Each month I get the lovely job of packaging up the gifts for members of the code club. I love this part of the month, because I really get to spoil those customers who’ve entered the code at the checkout online. The best thing about it is, ANYONE can join the code club. Next time you’re ordering in my online shop, you’ll see a box at the bottom right of the Shopping Basket screen, asking for a ‘Hostess Code’, that is where you enter my special Red Code. For full details about my monthly red code clubs, see here.

Joining that months club is completely free, there is no minimum spend requirement and you’re guaranteed a little surprise the following month, through your door completely free of charge. I’ve been running this code club for 13 months now, and it’s been a fantastic addition to my business. I’ve had amazing feedback from you and it is something I will continue. Thank you for taking part!

November 2015 Code Club Gifts Group

All members that joined the club in November will be receiving this gift very soon. I LOVE the Sketched Dots Gift Bags which holds the gift. The ribbon is gorgeous Very Vanilla Subtle Stripes Satin Ribbon, which has a beautiful shine and a stripe to it. This item is retired and soon to disappear forever, but luckily you can still pick up a 9.1 metre roll of this in the Year-End Sale, for just £5.08. I’m not sure if you can make out the ribbon slot I made for the ribbon to sit in, I used the Word Window Punch to create this.

November 2015 Code Club Gifts Close Up

Here’s a close up of the stamping, I’ve used a brand new stamp set called ‘Birthday Blooms’ that is coming soon in the Spring/Summer 2016 Catalogue. (If you’d like a free copy sent to you, please email me.) To colour the bloom, I stamped it in Smoky Slate ink, which is a great alternative to a black outline. For colour I’ve used the Aqua Painter for the Rose Red petals and then Mossy Meadow for the leaves and stem.

November 2015 Code Club Gifts

Our largest circle shape in a punch is the 2-1/2″, we do not stock a scallop circle punch that is bigger than that, so I’ve taken the 2-3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch and cut is straight down the middle, creating two halves. Then I’ve added a bit of Fast Fuse to the back of the circle, and placed the halves at the top and bottom. I really like doing this with my punches, why not try this with yours and make your punch shapes stretch out that little bit further?
