Here is the project that I want to share –
I love, love, LOVE the colour Cucumber Crush! Can you tell? I love it so much it’s the only colour that I’ve used for this card, which I think works well because I’ve created various tones of the Cucumber colour by water colouring. The white card I’ve used is the Shimmery White, which is gorgeous, you must have some in your crafting stash. It’s got a slight shimmer which I’ve captured in the photograph below, and the colour is half way in between white and vanilla.
The tandem bike is from a new Sale-A-Bration stamp set called ‘Pedal Pusher’. There is so much you can do with this set, you can add a flag on the back bumper, a wicker basket on the front and then you can add hearts, flowers or a baguette and bottle of wine into it. For my card I’ve kept it simple and just used the bike stamped in Versamark ink, then heat embossed in White Embossing Powder. With a Aqua Painter, I’ve washed over the bike, leaving the bike white.
The added detail at the bottom is done by using the Washi Tape punch, punching in Cucumber Crush card and also the white glitter tape which is also one of the new freebies available when you spend £45 during Sale-A-Bration. The stars and ‘Happy Birthday’ are from the Balloon Celebration stamp set.
Thank you so much for joining me today – please make sure that you don’t miss one of these amazing blogs as you hop around. Next up is the amazing Tami White!
