Welcome to the Grand Vacation Achievers Blog Hop for February. This month our theme is One For The Guys! We are sure that you will find some incredible inspiration from the projects that you are about to see. Also welcome to my blog, my name is Sarah Berry and I’ve been a demonstrator for almost 8 years, I live in Lancashire in the north of England, UK.
I’ve created a card for the world’s best dad who just happens to be a keen gardener! For this I’ve used the From the Garden stamp set which is in the Annual 2015-2016 Catalogue. I’ve chosen the row of three flower pots and stamped in Mossy Meadow ink onto the Shimmery White cardstock. I then stamped the whole stamp in Cajun Craze onto a scrap of Shimmery White card, then hand cut the pots out and stuck them on top of the green. Cajun Craze is the perfect terracotta colouring for flower pots don’t you think?
Using an Aqua Painter I created a wash of Crumb Cake ink, starting from underneath the pots downwards. I couldn’t leave the flowers bare, so I used a couple of shapes from the Tree Builder Punch in Delightful Dijon and Watermelon Wonder. The sentiment is taken from a new stamp set featured in the Spring/Summer Catalogue, Going Global.
I like the style of your card. Very beautiful!
Super sweet! Perfect for the gardener. x
Oh Sarah! You’ve managed to use flowers on a guy-card and it is WONDERFUL!! Way to go. Have a terrific day and God Bless, ~Cynthia <

Beautiful card Sarah and one of my most favourite Stamp Sets. In fact, it was this stamp set that lead me to using the Botanical Gardens Suite for my card. Thanks for sharing, Mikaela x
I love that flowers can be for the men too! 🙂
