Fun with Flowers

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s March Blog Hop and welcome to my blog today over in Lancashire, United Kingdom! Today I have the staring role of ‘Guest Stamper’ for Brian King’s team blog hop. Wow, oh wow, that is quite literally amazing, so I want to say a huge thank you to Brian and his InKings team for inviting me to guest hop today. THANK YOU Brian & team!

Stampin’ Up!’s Spring/Summer Catalogue and Annual Catalogue are filled with amazing products that help you celebrate Spring with style.  With floral stamp sets, dies and printed papers, you can’t go wrong as you have fun with flowers.  Today’s Fun with Flowers Blog Hop is filled with inspiring projects that share some great ideas – we are excited to share what we’ve made and hope you’ll find great inspiration from our talented team members in this hop.  After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

Botanical Blooms card collection #stampwithsarah #stampinup

I just LOVE the Botanical Blooms Bundle from Stampin’ Up!, it’s amazing value because you receive not only the photopolymer stamps and the coordinating framelits, but you get the matching paper pack too! I believe this is the first bundle to also include the paper pack as well. For the colours I’ve just taken the colours straight out of the paper paper. So we have Hello Honey, Cajun Craze (A colour I don’t use enough off!) and also Old Olive. The Hello Honey flower has been sponged with the same colours ink, just in the centre and around the petal tips to bring it to life.

Botanical Blooms Close Up #stampwithsarah #stampinup

Can you see the clever way the flower die cuts pop up? This is simply genius! The flower is complete and you just tweak the middle petals to lift them. I’ve played about with different centres for the flowers. We have a mixture of buttons, rimmed pearls, our basic pearls. Which is your favourite? The cute silver flower you can see next to the flowers is a Botanical Garden Jewel, they come complete with the gem centre. I’ve got stacks of these to use because I love them, they really do sparkle! I plan to colour the centre gem with my Sharpies, making them really sweet for other occasions.

Botanical Blooms Coordinating envelope #stampwithsarah #stampinup

Lastly, I’ve got a coordinating envelope for you which just finished off the whole set, who doesn’t like to stamp on the flaps of envelopes? The colour combination there is a Pear Pizzazz leaf base and Old Olive leaf veins and spots over the top.

Thank you so much for visiting today.  I hope you’ll continue to hop along to the next stop in the hop, Lynn Kolcun at Avery’s Owlery. There’s lots of inspiring projects in this group of talents Demonstrators and it’s been a pleasure hopping along with them.
