Welcome to the Grand Vacation Achievers Blog Hop for February. This month our theme is Wedding Dreams! We are sure that you will find some incredible inspiration from the projects that you are about to see.
I’ve thought this blog hop would be a great time to get started on my wedding album. Our 3rd Anniversary is coming up and I’ve still not printed out a single photograph and I’d really must get on with it. Stampin’ Up! have a Project Life Card Collection called Love Story, which has many black, white and grey cards, suitable for any wedding. The monochrome collection really lets your wedding colours, which for me was Island Indigo blue and Daffodil Delight yellow stand out!
These first couple of pages are from the beginning of my day, in our hotel room getting ready for the wedding. We’re sitting chatting and taking turns with our hair and make up. I’m really please I had our photographer come and take snaps of the moment because he’s paid attention to detail capturing all the special things, like the beads on my dress, to my shoes still fresh in their shoe box. I was over the moon to see a card from the collection which reads ‘It’s all in the details’ which really says it all.
For added details I’ve used the heart and flower stamp from the Spring Summer Catalogue, Bloomin’ Love. I’ve stamped the heart in Island Indigo to match the bridesmaids dresses and the flower stamp to match the yellow roses in my bouquet. I just love the Project Life Corner Rounder for this album, the rounded corners really do finish the pages off.
Thank you for visiting my post today, I’m so pleased you did! I really appreciate your comments and reply to each and every one. Thank you and enjoy the hop!!
