Hello there, thank you for visiting today. Every Monday Kylie and her Global Design Team release a new challenge. Sometimes it’s a sketch, sometimes a case, but this week they have a colour challenge for us.

If you’ve seen the previous post to this one, you’ll notice that this week on my blog is ‘In Colour Week’ and today is the day of Tangelo Twist. So I couldn’t miss out on doing this weeks colour challenge because Tangelo Twist is in there.

Here’s the colour challenge today and here’s what I made.

Hooray! card entry for Global Design Project Colour Challenge #GDP029 #stampwithsarah #stampinup

I’ve kept the three colours in the same order as on the GDP graphic above and using my trusty Stamp-a-ma-jig to help position the Hooray! stamp. The Hooray! stamp is from a set of 9 stamps, called Perfect Pairings. It’s one of the free stamps you can choose from, when you spend £45 in my online shop (or over the phone) with me until 31st March. So if you love this set as much as I do you’ve got just 3 days to redeem it for free.

Perfect Pairings free Sale-A-Bration stamp set.
Available in red rubber for wood mount or for clear blocks.

I’ve got several Congratulations cards to make because my Strawberry Stampers Demonstrator team are awesome! So I’ve paired the Hooray! stamp with a wooden embellishment, from a pack called Expressions Naturals Elements. The wooden pieces come plain in colour, so I’ve taken my Tangelo Twist maker pen to it, and coloured it in. From there I’ve covered it in VersaMark ink, which is a clear tacky ink, which is perfect for adding embossing powder to. Can you see the shimmer on the word? That’s the clear embossing powder after it’s been heated shining in the light.
