Floral Phrases A Note of Thanks card for Hello! Blog Hop #stampwithsarah

For my post on Tuesday I used the Floral Phrases Bundle [Clear-Mount/Wood-Mount] and I can’t bring myself to put it back on my shelf just yet. For today’s card I’ve used the large floral stamp and the border from the stamp set. Using three colours of Stampin’ Write Marker pens, Emerald Envy, Sweet Sugarplum and Perfect Plum I coloured directly onto the stamp with the brush tip. I really enjoy adding different colour to stamps in this way.

I’ve coloured the pretty flower stamp twice and stamped onto a Whisper White square and matted it onto a scalloped square of Perfect Plum. These clever layering shapes are the brand new Layering Squares Framelits Dies, the spacing between the layers is perfect!

What a lovely choice of colours Sarah. So lovely to see this set used in any other than shades of blue. Really very elegant x

What a gorgeous card. I love how you have used the makers. I think I am going to have to buy some of those.

Thank you for reminding me of this card design. Have gotten stuck on square on square and forget to turn the square card sideways for a striking design. Love your choice of colors.

This is a lovely card, and so well stamped. Being able to color the image twice with the markers, and then placing them so perfectly is quite an accomplishment. My congratulations!
