GV mediterranean Blog Header

Welcome to the Grand Vacation Achievers Blog Hop for June. This month our theme is all about Highlights of the Mediterranean Cruise. Each demonstrator in this hop today is here to share a little something from their cruise with us all. I’m excited to hear what others have to say. So Kylie Bertucci has given us the title of ‘Highlights’. Highlights? Where do I begin? Am I allowed to say all of it? The whole trip.

Earning the trip was just an amazing feeling, but it doesn’t seem real right up until you’re on that aeroplane and on your way. Tom and I decided to bring Matthew along with us because it really was going to be a great family holiday. Seeing his reactions to the different people we met and places we visited was just the best feeling ever. The first day of the cruise we were on our way by shuttle bus and were sat in front of Shelli and Sterling Gardner. Shelli, Sterling and I were laughing and smiling at Matthew’s first reaction to seeing the cruise liner. His words we “WOW, oh Mummy it’s MASSIVE, it’s AWESOME, I’m going to go on that yellow slide straight away!” I know I’m slightly biased being his mother, but he really was VERY cute.

Before we left on our trip I’d ordered Matthew his own camera so he could take photos of his little adventures every day for his Project Life. We actually did a little Project Life when we were out there. It didn’t occur to me until I started typing this post that we haven’t actually looked through the photos that he’d taken! :O So here you have it, here are the highlights of our family holiday in the Med, from a 5 year old boys point of view.
