You may have arrived here from Louise at Stampin’ Delight, welcome! This month we’re focusing on the kits that Stampin’ Up!® offer in their Annual Catalogue. I’m really excited to see what everyone has chosen and made. After you’ve finished here at my post, simply use the button at the end of my post to continue hopping!
I must admit, I’ve really struggled to create something for this hop today. I personally find it really hard to use the kits for their intended use, the creative part of me wants to turn the kit into something else that it wasn’t intended for. However, that being said, I would quite happily take this kit away on holiday with me and complete it from beginning to end.
The kit I’ve chosen to use is the Oh Happy Day card kit. This is a really eye catching kit that makes 20 unique cards. Aren’t the cards so pretty! They’re bright and fun, with lots of pop out pieces and full colour instructions to make each of these cards.
This is my second kit that I’ve had of this because I love it, and so I thought I would do something a little different with it the second time around.
This is an 8″x8″ picture frame with a layout inside. I’ve chosen a couple of photos from Adam’s 2nd birthday, one of him eating his cake first before his sandwiches (of course!) and him playing with the blast off rocket. The only pieces that aren’t in the kit are from the embellishment enamel shapes packs.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my post today and I’ve inspired you to think outside of the box when it comes to the kits we have on offer. Please do continue to hop around the Stampin’ Creative blogs, using the links below. Enjoy!
Gorgeous project Sarah and wonderful photo’s of Adam. A really lovely way of using up some of the embellishments from a kit. Thanks for sharing x
What a great way to use the stamp set and embellishments – a lovely keepsake
Love this idea Sarah!
