Crazy Crafters Blog Hop Special Guest Sarah Berry

Hello everyone! Today is a very exciting day because Kylie Bertucci’s Crazy Crafter’s team have put together a blog hop featuring me. Thank you to every single one of you who’s taking part today, I can’t wait to see what you’ve made inspired by my work.

Today I’m out at a Bi-Annual event with 51 other members of my wider demonstrator team, I love spending time with fellow demos and I’ll also be meeting some new members of my team today which is VERY exciting! I’ll be taking along these gifts to hand deliver as special prizes for taking part in our Autumn-Winter Catalogue Facebook Launch Party  we had last week. Our team parties are always lots of fun and involve different games and quizzes.

So for today’s blog hop I’ve decided to blend to two, casing one of my most favourite projects I’ve ever made what I call the Magical Gift Bags! I first made these back in September 2015, so a year’s gone by and it’s time to bring it out again. You can visit my original blog post from Sept 2015 here and I even made a video on this last year which you can watch here.

All Pull Ribbon Gifts

And here they are, what’s so magical about these I hear you ask? Well, when you pull the ribbon bow…. *drum roll* out pops your surprise gift, how does that happen, what wizardry is this? It’s so very cool and I know you’ll enjoy making these too.

Pull Ribbon Gift

So let’s fast forward to September 2016 and revamp these magical gifts for gifts for my Strawberry Stampers team members. I’ve chosen some Halloween Enamel Dots as their prize, I love these little dots, you get 96 of these dots in Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie. I use these on EVERYTHING! This time I’ve used the Glassline bags, which I’ve trimmed about 2″ / 5 cm off the top to fit the Halloween Night Enamel Dots better.

The pattern paper is Playful Palette, with coordinating Ruched Ribbon in Emerald Envy. Can you see those little coloured dots? There’s even matching enamel dots in the same colours as the pattern paper. This is why I LOVE Stampin’ Up! so much, their colour coordination is amazing!!

  5. Hello Sarah, thanks so much for joining us Crazy Crafters today in the Blog Hop,

I enjoyed CASEing your Flip Flop Card, I have had so much fun making it. I hope you enjoy seeing your work being re created by us, I think you will need a huge mug of Tea and a box of biscuits to look through them all; hopefully looking through them they will bring back a few happy memories too from the time you made the cards yourself.
