Hello! It’s the last Saturday in the month again and that means it’s time for our Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop. Today our theme is Gift Wrapping Ideas. I’ve instantly gone for my favourite quick and simple gift wrapping project. The Sour Cream Carton. It’s such a simple project, you can start with any size or shape. I’ve gone for a 6″ x 6″ piece of paper from the Warmth and Cheer pack of paper in the Autumn-Winter Catalogue. The decoration is kept really simple becuase mine is for my Christmas tree for advent. I’m going to hang these on my tree with treats inside for each day. The decoration is simple because I know these are going to be ripped open every day to get the treats out!
Having said that, you could really go to town on these, just make sure you use Fast Fuse to make them hold their shape. The paper is being forced into another shape so it will want to pull open and back to being flat. So as long as you use strong tape you’ll be perfectly fine. You must have glue on three of the four sides, and make into a toilet roll shape first, then push the sides down in different directions. Another idea for these is to hang them along a line of ribbon on the wall if you didn’t want them on your tree, but also you can use them for presents, this size would fit some jewellery in.
I hope you like my super simple gift wrapping idea today. Next up we have the lovely Mikaela with her Gift Wrapping Idea for you. Simple click on the next button to continue hopping. Bye for now!

I know! Mine are simple but love this paper!
You know I’ve never made one of these yet, and how long have I been a demonstrator?! But I adore this paper, and looks gorgeous as a sour cream carton so I’m off to the craft room on my return from my weekend away!!
I love these, I always forget about them – what a great & easy advent calendar idea too!
