The Be Inspired Design Team are back again with another wonderful hop for you. My name is Sarah Berry and I’m a demonstrator based in Morecambe, Lancashire, UK. The team and I create stunning blog hops for you to enjoy every two weeks, on a Thursday. You can make sure you never miss one of our hops by adding your email to my mailing list below.
Never miss a Be Inspired Blog Hop – If you’d like to receive a notification about our next hop, you can sign up for an email here –> http://bit.ly/BeInspiredEmail.
For this hop our theme is Sending Love. On pages 14 & 15 of the Spring-Summer / Occasions Catalogue you’ll find a whole suite dedicated to Sending Love. Pattern papers to card stock, ribbon and pretty wooden embellishments. Even though Valentine’s Day has past, Wedding Anniversaries are all of the year round aren’t they? The Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stack is a wonderful addition to your paper collection for this reason.
Now this card is a smaller card than I normally make, it’s 10.5 x 10.5cm (or 12-1/4″ x 12-1/4″) but I thought it would suit the heart to be central in the card. I first cut all my layers, then die cut the heart using on of the Sweet & Sassy Framelits Dies. Next I chose the pattern paper and cut it into 1cm (1/2″) strips, then adhered them to the back of the heart aperture. The fun part is the big reveal when you turn the card around to face you. Perhaps you could try this with different die shapes and pattern papers?
I hope you’ve enjoyed my card today, if you live in the UK, France, Germany, Holland or Austria you can purchase any of these items I used today via the supplies list below. Thank you very much for visiting you’re now off to see the super talented Artisan Design Member, Louise Sharp!
