This week our theme is ‘Tasty Treats’. There are so many products I could have chosen for today’s hop, but I’ve decided to pull out a favourite of mine from last year, the Pyramid Pals Thinlits die. The die is so unusual and certainly draws attention to itself. You’ve got so many possibilities with not just dies on their own but also paired up with the Playful Pals Stamp Set. Because Easter is just around the corner, I’ve put aside the coordinating stamp set for today’s product and used a new set from the Spring/Summer (or Occasions) Catalogue.

In the UK we can buy these gorgeous pastel coloured chocolate eggs, called Mini Eggs. They’re from Cadburys and Easter isn’t Easter without a bag or two of these in the kitchen cupboard. The pyramid has a handful of eggs inside, can you see them peering through the acetate window?

The cute little bunny rabbit is from a stamp set called Basket Bunch, which is a brand new release to the Spring/Summer Catalogue. My little boy Matthew absolutely loves this stamp set and I agree that it is really very useful.  There’s images in the set which are great for new babies or young children’s birthdays.

Here’s a close up of the decoration, the rabbit is coloured using the new Watercolour Pencils and a blender pen. The little blades of grass are from the die set from Emerald Envy cardstock.

How to make the carrot? Simply ink up the green in Emerald Envy over the side of the ink pad, then turn the stamp and ink up the carrot in Tangerine Tango. Then stamp onto the paper. 😀 It’s so quick and fun to do.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my project today, next up on this hop is my lovely friend Louise Sharp, I can’t wait to see what she’s made for us today.
