Blog Hop: Inspired by Birthdays with the Be Inspired Team

Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop Sarah Berry Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator

Today is the turn of Birthdays for our design team hop. This is very exciting for me because the majority of the cards I create are thank you or just because themed.  I’ve used a simple colour palette for this card, White, Kraft, Peekaboo Peach and Pumpkin Pie. I love a bit of white space on a card, I adore the clean and simple look, everything has to be straight and just so.

This Balloon Celebration stamp set isn’t new, it’s been in the catalogue since Spring of last year. There are lots of different stamps in the set, 28 pieces in fact. I just love the Happy Birthday font and there’s a matching balloon punch too! (I didn’t use it in today’s card though.)

I’m a huge fan of our Thick Whisper White cardstock, to make a folded card you need to cut and score yourself, but if you do a whole pack for a few minutes you’ll soon get it done and ready in the drawer for your next cards. The Kraft cardstock is from a new Designer Series Paper range, call Foil Frenzy Specialty. It certainly is a frenzy of colour, under the lights in real life it really is stunning.
I’ve added a stamped black bow under the balloon, then topped it off with a large black rhinestone, these are a new product which is coming in the Autumn/Winter Catalogue this September.

Thank you for visiting today, next up is my friend (who lives too far away) Louise Sharp in Australia!
