I first saw the Quilt Builder Framelits, when I was sat in a huge marque in Thailand. The Autumn/Winter Catalogue was unveiled to Stampin’ Up! Thailand trip achievers from around the world, during a 38 degree, humid day. It was a strange but wonderful experience, getting excited about the new Christmas products while trying to stay cool in the heat! The Quilt Builder bundle was an instant hit for me, lots of ooo’s and wow’s and went straight to the top of my order list!

As you can see from today’s card, the Quilt Builder Framelits are not just for Christmas, they can we turned into Birthday cards too! There’s endless of fun combinations you can come up with. I can’t wait to play with it some more.

There are 15 individual dies in this set, I cut the star shape three times, first in the darkest Basic Grey, then Smoky Slate and lastly from the Daffodil Delight pattern. The pattern was stamped with a set from the Window Shopping Clear-Mount stamp set.

The dies are based on a traditional quilting block, here’s an example for you, sourced from Pinterest.

Today’s card is made from Thick Whisper White card stock, measured 5″ x 5″, with being an unusual size I made my very own envelope from the Delightful Daisy Pattern Paper on the Envelope Punch Board.
