Sarah Berry Stampin’ Up! UK Independent Demonstrator | Blog Hop: Inspired by Flowers & Leaves with the Be Inspired Team

Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop Sarah Berry Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator

Welcome back to another Be Inspired Team Hop! This week we’re focused on all things Flowers and Leaves. Here in the UK, the nights a drawing in and the leaves on the trees are turning brown. My fancy fold card I have for you today is a complete contrast to the season at the moment. If you’re just starting on this blog hop, you can continue hopping around all of our posts using the next button at the bottom.

Here’s my card in full, we made these at my local monthly class this month. It’s a different style for me, I tend just to go for your standard folded card, but I’d like to try all these other fancy folds. This one is called a Z fold card. It is literally two pieces of cardstock, with two score lines each in them. You can make your card as big or small as you’d like, the fold in the centre can be narrow or wider like mine, you choose the size. As long as you have your score lines the same the Z fold will work.

This card is a different pattern paper, can you see how you can open up the card?

The base cardstock is Thick Whisper White, I adore this cardstock and I’m so grateful that we have it. It’s my go-to card for making great quality card bases. Being in the UK, our cardstock is A4 in size, 21 x 29.7 cm. Which is narrower and taller than the US size of 8.5″ x 11″. If you’d like to have a go at making this card, I have a free PDF download of these instructions for you. Please note that the instructions are in centimetres only at the moment.

With the theme of today’s hop being Flowers and Leaves, you really cannot get more floral than the Painted Autumn Pattern Papers and the coordinating Painted Harvest stamp set. This month’s Craft Box is Painted Autumn, so if you fancy trying out these them you can find it here.

Thank you for visiting today, next up on the hop is a superman Brian King. Enjoy!
