I’m only just making a start on my Christmas cards! Eek! You’d think that seeing as I sell Stampin’ Up! product I’d have been promoting Christmas a lot more, but in all honesty, the ideas for Christmas just don’t come to me in September!

This is my first proper Christmas card I’ve made for a member of my family this year. It features the wonderful Nutcracker which I’ve loved ever since I was a little girl. My grandparents always decorated their home with nutcrackers at Christmastime but also kept them out all year round as they are just amazing to look at. When I was young we went to the ballet to see The Nutcracker. As you can imagine the production was just stunning!

I was happy to see the Sugarplum Dreams stamp set in this year’s Autumn/Winter Catalogue as it’s just my favourite! The set has characters from the Christmas story, the Sugar Plum Fairy, the Nutcracker Prince and King Mouse. You also have some holly, a Christmas tree, a bit of sparkle and a couple of greetings.
