Sarah Berry Stampin’ Up! UK Independent Demonstrator | Playing with Brushos and the Beautiful Day stamp set from Stampin’ Up!

This year is a year of 60th birthdays for our family. Today’s card features a few of the new products from the Spring/Summer Catalogue, I just couldn’t wait to get them out and play! The amazing blue, yellow and green background has been made using a product called Brusho® Crystal Colour.  Isn’t it interesting? I’m slightly addicted to making these backgrounds.

Those lovers of Butterflies will be loving this new stamp set called Beautiful Day, which has a lovely large butterfly stamp in it. There’s also a flower and a couple of nice greetings. I love a nice curly font with it paired up with a block font.

I first stamped the butterfly in Versamark ink, then heat embossed with White embossing powder. That created a resist for the Brusho colour powders. I also made a second version of this card, without the silver foil 60 numbers, so you can see the butterfly behind.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, do you have any special birthdays to celebrate in your family this year?
