Sarah Berry Stampin’ Up! UK Independent Demonstrator | Thank You for Everything card from the Color Me Happy stamp set from Stampin’ Up!
Recently I’ve been looking at my stamp set collection and choosing the first stamp set that jumps out at me. Today’s stamp set was the Color Me Happy stamp set, which needs highlighting actually because you won’t find it in the Spring/Summer or the Annual Catalogue. This a new set, as of November 2017 and it is in the Stampin’ Blends Brochure, alongside a Project Kit for the Blends.
As always, I’ve stamped in the Tuxedo Memento Black ink as that is the ink which we recommend to use, it will not react to the alcohol which is inside the pends. I’ve coloured the ‘thank’ with the Light and Dark shade of the Old Olive Blends Markers, then outlined in the Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Marker. After the colouring was finished, I took the largest of the oval frames, from the Layering Ovals Collection and die cut it on my BigShot machine. I cut it with the thank you, at a slight slant, can you see? I did that because I spotted the ‘For Everything’ from the Petal Palette stamp set and quite like to mix and match my sentiments from different stamp sets.
The leaves stamped in the background are from that same set, Petal Palette. I used just one ink colour here which is Old Olive, I inked up once then stamped off three times in various positions. I love that you can get different shades from one colour of ink don’t you? To finish off my card I’ve added some of the Tutti-Frutti Sequins around the edge, and ta-da! All done!
