Sarah Berry Stampin’ Up! UK Independent Demonstrator | Happy Birthday card with the We Must Celebrate stamp set from Stampin’ Up!

Have you spotted this cute stamp set in the Spring/Summer Catalogue? It’s so sweet, with the line of animals, a squirrel, racoon, a bear and a rabbit. I’ve stamped them here in Memento Ink, then coloured with a few colours of Stampin’ Blends. If you’re interested in the Stampin Blends, you can find more information about the club on this page, where you can collect them all, over a four-month period.

  • Ivory; for the tummies.
  • Smoky Slate; for Racoon and Rabbit.
  • Brown; for Squirrel and Bear.
  • Crumb Cake;
  • Pink Pirouette; for the cheeks and noses.
  • Old Olive; for grass.
  • Pool Party; for the sky.

The background is pretty fun to create. You use the clouds mask from the Pattern Party Decorative Masks pack of 4, and combine it with the new Shimmery White Embossing Paste to create sparky glitter clouds. Isn’t it fun? It only takes about 10 minutes to dry, and once they’re on the glitter doesn’t flake off at all.

I felt like my card needed some ribbon, I tried all sorts but then decided all it needed was a sweet little bow tie, which is Calypso Coral 1/8″ ribbon. To fix the tiny bow, I just used a couple of dabs of the Fine Tip Glue.

Thank you so much for visiting me today, I hope you like my card today. See you back here again tomorrow!
