Hello there, I’m back again for my second week of being a member of the Global Design Team, over at www.global-design-project.com. This week it’s turn for a sketch challenge, and I’ve stuck to this sketch as much as I can.

I’ve tried REALLY hard with this card, to choose a coloured cardstock as my base layer. I’ve always drawn to a fresh and clean Whisper White base layer, go me! 😀 I’ve rotated the white label to portrait, not landscape to fit in my bowl of fruit and sentiment underneath. Then instead of the bow as seen in the sketch, I’ve added three lime sequins from the Tutti-Frutti Sequins pack.

I’ve found out my Delicate Lace Doilies which I thought would suit this card well, just a little accent of prettiness! I love the splash of lime coming from the Kiwi fruit pattern paper. Can you see I have three pears in the fruit bowl? It’s really very easy to do, my instructions below explain how to do this in three simple steps. You can of course go one step further and create a mask for your fruit pieces, allowing you to change out the fruit, stamping a pineapple for example without it overlapping the pear. I didn’t worry too much here as all my fruit was going to be the same.
