Hello everyone, what a glorious Bank Holiday weekend we’re having here in the UK! I can’t remember the last time we had a warm bank holiday can you? Hopefully this weather will stay around for a little longer. I’ve certainly enjoyed spending time out in the garden, having a bbq and playing with the boys. What did you do this weekend?

Today’s card has a cardstock base of Pool Party, I like to cut my cardstock length ways sometimes and make cards that open up. The background today is stamped using the swirl stamp from the Swirly Bird stamp set. I stamped it in Melon Mambo as many times as I could to fill the paper. Adding the Lemon Lime Twist leaves, makes them look like roses.
The ‘You are Wonderful’ stamp was inked up in two different inks to create this cool looking ombre look. I think that just looks stunning and I’ll certainly be doing that more in the future. That greeting is from a new stamp set to be released on the 1st June 2018, called Rooted in Nature. That is just one stamp from a set of 16! I’ve added a graphic of it below, and if you can’t wait until the 1st June 2018, you can order it now in starter kits. Please ask if you’d like more information about that.
