Sarah Berry Stampin’ Up! UK Independent Demonstrator | Birthday Trio with the Blow Out the Candles Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up!

I’ve made a trio of birthday cards here using a new stamp set in the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue. This set has really caught my eye, I love the simple shapes in the set for the cake, balloons and candles, making stamping really easy! Each image has an outer border line stamp, and a filling stamp which fits inside filling the white space. It kind of looks like you’ve coloured them in so beautifully, don’t you think?

I wanted some bright colours on these cards, and the main focus to be on each picture. The colours I’ve chosen are Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay, Mango Melody, Gray Granite and Basic Black.

I think my favourite stamp in the set has got to be the Happy Birthday, it’s in a nice fun bubbly looking font. Stamps like that make it SO easy to do a cool ombre look with just a couple of ink pads. I’ve not used anything fancy to create the ombre look, just used two ink pads on each card, and ta-dah! Doesn’t it look amazing? I will never ever tire of that fun look.

Pop back soon to see a video on how I create that ombre look!
