Easter cards are something you either do, or you don’t aren’t they? If you do make them, I’m guessing you won’t be making very many of them. There’s a wonderful new stamp set in the Spring Summer Catalogue called Fable Friends. The word ‘Fable’ is usually used to describe a short story with a moral, typically with animal characters. We’re all familiar with the adventures of Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit aren’t we? The animal characters in the Fable Friends stamp set instantly make me think of a wonderful world of fairy tale characters getting up to mischief.
Not only is the Fable Friends stamp set perfect for your cute Easter cards, but you can also make yourself Spring and new baby cards too. I demonstrated this gatefold card at my Wednesday Coffee & Card session a few weeks ago now and explained I’d left the greeting off of the front. I thought the ladies could use a ‘Happy Easter’ or ‘Welcome Baby’ greeting quite easily when they had a use for the card.
Here we are all set up for our Coffee & Card session. I love to take an overhead shot of the class, this time I remembered just as we started drinking our coffee! Phew!
