Sarah Berry Stampin’ Up! UK Independent Demonstrator | Colour Inspiration | New baby card with the Welcome Easter stamp set
Welcome to the first of a new theme on my blog, Colour Inspiration! Each Friday I will be focusing on a colour inspiration image, from Design Seeds. At Design Seeds, they create a daily colour inspiration image, so I’ve looked at the colours and matched them as closely as I could to our Stampin’ Up!® colours. I just say I LOVE this mix of pastels and greys.
So here’s my starting point, I first grabbed a few products off my shelves, mostly scrap pieces of card and a few of the ink colours. Next I selected the stamp set to use. Hmm, so much choice! These colours seem to be suited for a baby card, which is great because I’ve been wanting to make a baby card with the cute little animals from the Welcome Easter stamp set.
I really love the sentiment from the Welcome Easter stamp set, ‘Welcome to the World Little One’ I like the way the W curves round and creates a heart. I’ve added a little touch of Blushing Bride onto this card by colouring the rabbits nose and also the heart in the sentiment. The Blushing Bride colour is created using the Blushing Bride Stampin’ Write Marker from the Subtles Collection of Stampin’ Write Markers.
The border was cut in Mint Macaron cardstock with one of the border dies from the new Ornate Borders Dies. The Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder, was embossed with Sahara Sand cardstock and is also new in the Ornate Garden product release this month.
