Sarah Berry Stampin’ Up! UK Independent Demonstrator | Simple Sunday | More with the Hoot Hoot Hooray stamp set from Stampin’ Up!®

This week I’ve been exploring the wonderful Hoot Hoot Hooray stamp set. I’ve really enjoyed stamping each of the 6 images featured in the set. Until next Friday, I’ll be sharing my creations with you all. I really hope you’ll pop by over the next few days to see what I’ve made. This is card number 2 of 7.

You’re probably wondering where this stamp set has sprung from, well let me tell you it’s not a new set. It can’t be found in our 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue, nor can it be seen in this years Jan-June 2020 Mini Catalogue.

The Hoot Hoot Hooray stamp set is featured in our smaller ‘Experience Creativity’ Brochure.

I really like these Scallop Note Cards. They come as a pack of 20 cards and 20 envelopes, in 5 each of 4 colours: Balmy Blue, Old Olive, Powder Pink, Terracotta Tile. They are 5″ x 3-1/2″ (12.7 x 8.9 cm), so they’re slightly smaller than C6. I like these for quick and simple cards, and with today being my Simple Sunday day on the blog, they fit in just right.

The cake cake and banner is one stamp. So I’ve inked it up in Memento Black ink because it’s an ink that will not run or bleed when colouring with Stampin’ Blends. Two of the Blends colours I’ve used today are from the Retiring In Colours for 2018-2020. With our retiring list coming out on Wednesday, you might just want to add these colours to your list for then. Especially if you’re someone who’s collecting the Blends.

The little Ruched Ribbon is in Daffodil Delight and from the Jan-June 2020 Mini Catalogue. I really like the way it adds a little texture to the card.
