I’ve made a start on my Christmas cards for this year! One of my team members highlighted the Gnome for the Holidays stamp set, which wasn’t originally on my list to start with if I’m honest. I’m not sure why because you all know I’m a HUGE fan of colouring with Stampin’ Up’s! Stampin’ Blends. Last night I stamped this little Gnome and started to colour him. I’ve kept the colour palette traditional this time around.
This Gnome has a wonderfully tall hat which he can just about peek underneath it, isn’t he sweet? I started by colouring his beard with Smoky Slate, making sure I left a little white space by not colouring it fully. Grey hair is made up of many shades so I left him patchy. His outfit and hat, are a combination of Shaded Spruce and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends.
I’ve cut a strip of pattern paper from the Plaid Tidings pattern papers, and layered it behind the oval topper. Lastly, I added three of the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots for a touch of sparkle.
