The Gilded Autumn Suite has to be my favourite to be featured in the August-December 2020 Mini Catalogue. I love the earthy colour palette along with the gold and copper foiling, it’s so stunning. I hope today’s card shows off all that is beautiful about this pattern paper.
Today’s card is a simple design, 5 strips of pattern paper were glued onto a Mint Macaron layer of cardstock. I then stamped ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY’ from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set, in Early Espresso ink onto a strip which didn’t have any foiling on.
I then took the coordinating punches, from the Autumn Punch Pack and punched out different leaves and a couple of acorns directly from the pattern paper. I also punched out a couple which is straight from Early Espresso cardstock.
Mini Dimensionals are the perfect size to layer these leaves and acorns onto. I love the way the leaves look like they are blowing in the wind. Perhaps this is a card that would be suitable to send to a male? If it’s a special birthday I can imagine some foiled numbers added into the leaves to celebrate the age.
