Welcome back to Simple Sundays. Today I have a birthday card for you, made with the Posted For You Bundle. The stamp set features a couple of little birds sat on branches. I’ve turned my birds into Blue Tits with my Stampin’ Blends.
To create the Blue Tit, I’ve used Daffodil Delight, along with Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Blends. When colouring colour each bird separately because you do not want the alcohol in the ink to dry out, this will stop any blending happening. The Daffodil Delight and Misty Moonlight blend together and create an almost grey-green colour.
The greeting was stamped in Misty Moonlight, which is also the same colour as the card base. To finished off the card, I threaded a length of the Snowflake Splendor ribbon behind the postage stamps, securing with Seal before adhering to the card base. I love the iridescent look of this ribbon against the blue. Also, it’s actually quite though which means it holds it’s shape, especially when making bows beautifully!
