Welcome back to ‘Your Creative Connection’. The theme for today is Dies to Die for. Visit our posts from a group of talented Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world, each one from a different country. Right now you’re visiting Sarah Berry in the United Kingdom.

I just love these Poinsettia Dies from the Poinsettia Petals Bundle. They really stand out on a Christmas card. I’ve used the four different sizes of leaves here, cut from Poppy Parade cardstock, then added with Cherry Cobbler ink with a finger sponge dauber. Then I glued the layers together with the Fine-Tip Glue.

The leaves were cut from Garden Green cardstock and also coloured with ink, this time I used Garden Garden ink directly from the ink pad to give the leaves some definition.

Here’s a close up of that Poinsettia! Wow! Once the leaves are glued together, you can bend them up slightly to really show off those layers!

The pattern paper is from the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper. There are lots of pretty papers in that pack, so I found it hard to choose one to use. I”ll be making more Poinsettia cards on this Friday’s Facebook Live at 1PM if you’d like to join me.

Next on our Creative Connection tour is Vicki Boucher from Australia.
