I’ve managed to grab a few minutes to make another card, in between the nappy changes and the feeding! Lots of you have asked where I’ve been since December as I’ve gone quiet!
Well, if you’ve not already guessed, we had our baby girl a few days after Christmas. I’d been back and forth to the hospital throughout December though while they decided what to do with us. Baby Hannah arrived earlier than planned so we spent Boxing Day, until after New Year in hospital.
We’re home now, and adjusting to life as a family of 5! Thank you all for your kind messages, cards and gifts. You can tell the shops are shut because everyone has been sending beautiful baby clothes from Sainsbury’s or Morrisons! THANK YOU.
I’ve had another play with my favourite Pierced Blooms Dies from the January – June 2020 Stampin’ Up! Catalogue. I’m really having fun playing with these dies and stamps.
On Saturday I showed you a card with a sunflower I’d made with the same dies, and today I’ve made a bouquet of flowers.
I’ve also been playing with the Oh So Ombre pattern papers, from the Sale-a-bration brochure.
Sale-a-bration 2021

Step-by-step Instructions
- Using your Mini Cut & Emboss Machine, die cut the following shapes and cardstock colours. I’ve used the adhesive sheets on some of the flowers and leaves. Stick this on to the cardstock you need before die-cutting, to reveal a stick back layer on your die cut!
- Larger 6 pointed flower – Cut 1 in Blackberry Bliss, Cut 1 in Rococo Rose.
- Medium 6 pointed flower – Cut 1 in Blackberry Bliss, Cut 1 in Rococo Rose.
- 4 petal flower – Cut 2 in Blackberry Bliss, Cut 2 in Rococo Rose.
- Small flower centres – Cut 2 in Blackberry Bliss, Cut 2 in Rococo Rose.
- Stem – Cut 4 in Granny Apple Green.
- Leaves – Cut 3 in Granny Apple Green.
- Small flowers – Cut 6 in Daffodil Delight.
- Bow – Cut 1 in Melon Mambo.
- Stitched rectangle from Stitched So Sweetly Dies – Cut 1 in Very Vanilla.
- Build the greenery – Layer up the steams and leaves.
- Build flowers – Arrange your flowers in position. Layer up some of the flowers for interest. Add Fine Tip glue where needed.
- Decorate with Pastel Pearls and the die cut bow.
Inside the card & Envelope – Here I’ve cut a piece of the Blackberry Bliss Oh So Ombre pattern paper and stuck it to the bottom of the white layer. Then I’ve stamped one of the small flower stamps in the coordinating ink, Blackberry Bliss.
I’ve also covered the envelope flap with the matching paper too! These extra little touches make a card super special, and it looks great when it arrives on the doormat.
