Adding Polka Dots to Flowering Rain Boots Bundle

I certainly need a pair of these lovely Wellington Boots today! It’s a little wet outside! The Wellington Boot stamp is from the new stamp set and die bundle, Flowering Rain Boots. You’ll find this bundle with more inspiration on pages 29 and 30 of the new January – June 2022 Mini Catalogue or in my online shop.

The stamp set also includes a watering can, flower pot, tulips, a seed packet and lots of lovely sentiments. The dies also have a gardening tool and a die that cuts out wooden trellis.

The boots are plain, they stamp with a nice shading so they don’t need anything more added. But I’ve coloured them with Stampin’ Blends and then added polka dots.

TOP TIPS

• How to make your Wellington Boots polka dot
  1. I stamped the boots in Night of Navy ink, then coloured them in with the Night of Navy Light Stampin’ Blend.
  2. Allow a little time for the colouring to dry.
  3. Next use the Night of Navy Dark Stampin’ Blend and add a polka dot pattern onto the boots.
  4. To make the boots even more real, colour the buckle with the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend.

Do you notice those little gold butterflies? These are also a new product that can be found in the January – June 2022 Mini Catalogue, page 15. They’re called Brushed Brass Butterflies and you get 80 adhesive-backed pieces, 5 mm and 7 mm sizes.
