I just love making these peekaboo animal cards. These cute Otter stamps are from the Awesome Otters Stamp Set which is part of the Sale-a-bration offering for Spring 2022.
The Awesome Otters Stamp Set includes three otter images, which I’ve stamped in the background of this card and coloured with my Stampin’ Blends, Crumb Cake, Balmy Blue and a small touch of Pumpkin Pie for the fish! To make this card I’ve used the three plain edge circles from the new die set called Beautiful Shapes.

HOW TO MAKE
- Base card Balmy Blue measures 10.5 x 14.8 cm folded.
- Basic White 9.5 x 13.8 cm layer.
- Balmy Blue 10 x 14.3 cm layer.
- Position the three circle dies onto the Balmy Blue layer, then die cut.
- Place the Balmy Blue layer over the Basic White and using a pencil, lightly draw into the circles from Beautiful Shapes Dies. This will show you where you need to stamp the otters.
- With Memento Black ink, stamp the three otters into the pencil circle markings.
- Using Crumb Cake, Balmy Blue and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends colour the stamped images.
- Once the Stampin’ Blends are dry, carefully rub out your pencil marks.
- Stamp your sentiment onto the Balmy Blue top layer with the circle in it.
- Add dimensionals onto the back of the Balmy Blue layer. Peel the backings off the foam pads, then hover over the otters to line up the layers.
- Using Stampin’ Seal, you can then add glue onto the back of the white layer and stick onto the Balmy Blue folded card.
- To finished add a few of the Clear details from the Epoxy Essentials pack.
PAST MAKE
I made a similar peekaboo card in 2018 with a giraffe from the Animal Outing stamp set (which is now retired). That card had more of a 3D look to it. You can see the blog post | YouTube video here.
